As part of the U.S., Colorado is located at 39.0° N, 105.5° W in the Rocky Mountain Range. There will be lots of new experiences in Colorado for visitors, both on and off the slopes, from arts and cultural events at the Denver Art Museum to expansions at Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain. A variety of new food and beverage establishments throughout the state invite travelers to enjoy their winter adventures, followed by a ride on a large, hilltop roller coaster.

Andy Warhol Takes Control of the Roaring Fork Valley:
A Warhol exhibit will open on December 3 at the Aspen Museum of Art, the only venue in the United States where he will perform. The exhibition will be complemented by works from a private Warhol collection at the Powers Art Center in Carbondale. “Warhol in Colorado, the Artist’s Relationship with John and Kimiko Powers” will run from November 30 to April 30, 2022 with the full portfolios of “Marilyn” and “Flowers.”
New Mustang Mountain Coaster at Estes Park Open All Year
Visitors can experience the thrill of the new Mustang Mountain Coaster (a roller coaster mounted on a mountain) all year long. It opened in May 2021, and the exhilarating ride offers epic views and consists of approximately 304 linear meters of cable pulled uphill followed by 608 linear meters of gravity-driven descent.
New territories for skiing
Beaver Creek Resort will add 101 hectares of cozy ski terrain with a lift for beginning and intermediate skiers to connect and enhance their experience on the mountain for the 2021-22 season. McCoy Park is the community’s newest learning area and is a separate area, ideal for families.
• Breckenridge Ski Resort will open a new lift that will debut at Peak 7 in early winter. The new Leitner Poma high-speed quad lift on the north side of Peak 7 will be a game changer for the interconnected peak-to-peak experience at the resort.
• New for the 2021-22 season , Copper Mountain is launching the Western Territory, an area of the resort dedicated to inspiring beginning skiers, children and families to connect with Copper’s history and legacy. The area will include two new adventure zones for families, two new trails and a connecting trail.

• Cooper will welcome a new restaurant for the winter of 2021-22 called Timberline Taproomand and Trading Post with a sawmill theme and a variety of Colorado beers and great rates.
• Steilhang Hut, the new food and beverage venue on the mountain and above the trees of the Arapahoe Basin, will serve gourmet Colorado-made sausages, hot pretzels, strudel and German beer in a warm cabin.
• Visitors can enjoy the new Alpin Room at the High Alpine Restaurant in Snowmass that pays tribute to ski culture and a menu influenced by the Swiss, French and Austrian Alps.
• A new food operation, Shredders, will offer guests a new dining option when visiting Monarch Mountain .
Renovation at the Denver Art Museum
The Martin Building at the Denver Art Museum underwent a $ 150 million renovation: The Martin Building at the Denver Art Museum (formerly North Building), underwent an extensive multi-year renovation including the new Anna and John Welcome Center J. Sie, two new dining spaces, the Bartlit Learning and Engagement Center, and updated galleries. The building reopened to the public on October 24, 2021, in celebration of its 50th anniversary in late 2021.
Expansion at Denver International Airport
DEN is building new entry gates, increasing overall capacity at the airport by 30% with 39 gates to be added in all three lounges to allow DEN’s airlines the opportunity to grow and accommodate new airlines, including international ones. Construction of all expansion work is expected to be substantially complete by the end of 2021 and the gates will be fully operational in 2022.
