The citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council’s (GCC) countries can obtain ‘VISA on arrival’ and visit the UAE.

- Oman
- Saudi Arabia
Again, the citizens of Qatar are not allowed to enter UAE after their ties with Qatar severed in 2017.
The Tourist VISA is for people who are not given the VISA on arrival or free VISA to UAE.
Tourist VISA can be applied through 3 ways
- Through the Airlines
- Through the Travel Agencies
- Through the Hotel where you are planning to stay in the UAE
In all the three categories the required documents are the same. The major required documents are listed below
- An application form for tourist VISA duly filled
- 6cmX6cm color photograph with white background
- Color copy of your passport with all the details clearly appearing
- Valid Passport – at least 6 months validity at the time of travel
- Copy of the Air ticket – mostly on the same airline

If your children are accompanying you then
- Birth certificate of your children – Accepted languages are English and Arabic
- If the birth certificate is a translated one, then it must be attested in the front page
All the above documents must be submitted for every individual who are planning to travel.
If you are a minor – i.e. less than 18 years of age, then you must submit the following also
- Photo ID proof of parents or husband
- Copy of the Passport of the person with whom you will be staying in the UAE
If you are female below 18 years of age, you will not be eligible to apply for this VISA unless travelling with your parents.
